Friday night, September 30th, 2022, belonged to the traditional event Researcher's Night! The Department of Physical Electronics and CEPLANT prepared varied programs for the public. Large numbers of people attended our part of the event.

Science through senses. That was the topic of this year's Researcher's Night. The Department of Physical Electronics and CEPLANT prepared practical demonstrations of plasma discharges and experiments with eyesight and hearing.

Our DPE Plasma Nanotechnologies and Bioapplications colleagues Zlata Kelar Tučeková, Jakub Kelar, and students Roman Přibyl and Lucia Švandová showed practical demonstrations of plasma discharges used in research and industry applications. This part of the program was eye-catching. Plasma discharges in various forms and colors are beautiful.

We are pleased that the event was a success and well-liked. We are delighted that the adults and many families with kids came. Organizers were in great spirits, and attendees were leaving with smiling faces. We look forward to seeing you again at the following year's event or any other public event we organize during the year!
