Now, the talented future scientist from the Slovak Gymnázium Jura Hronca has won 4th place at the global finals of the Regeneron ISEF 2025 (Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair) held in Columbus, Ohio, USA.
Anna was part of the Slovak delegation organized by AMAVET (Association for Youth, Science and Technology). Last year, together with Adam Kovalčík, she earned her spot at the global Regeneron ISEF 2025 finals by winning at AMAVET 2024.
Her project, titled “New Wastewater Purification Strategy: Graphitic Carbon Nitride and Low-Temperature Plasma”, competed in the Environmental Sciences category and was one of 79 projects that made it to the global finals. Anna worked on the project under the guidance of Assoc.
