The CEPLANT Research Infrastructure offers open access to its experimental facilities for external users. Access to laboratories and equipment is provided free of charge for both national and international academic users, on the condition that the results of the experiments are made publicly available. The costs associated with access are covered by the Large Research Infrastructures program, funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.

How to apply for open access
To apply for open access to the infrastructure facilities, scientific proposals should be submitted via a signed application form (see the attachment below). There are no fixed deadlines – project proposals can be submitted at any time and are evaluated on a rolling basis. Each proposal is first assessed for feasibility by the instrument responsible, followed by a review of its scientific merit by our Scientific Board. Applicants will be notified of the outcome by email. A schematic overview of the application and research procedure at CEPLANT follows.
