The CEPLANT center participated in the Business Research Forum 2019 at Masaryk University. Information about CEPLANT center and its current research topics were presented to attendees.
3rd Business Research Forum organized by Masaryk University is the largest event that presents the results of scientific research on MU. The event took place at Masaryk University Campus Bohunice on April 25th, 2019. This science fair introduced a wide range of possible cooperation with the largest university in Moravia. The program included presentations of various research teams and thematic discussion sections.

CEPLANT researchers participated in the 3rd Business Research Forum. Our colleagues Slavomír Sihelník, Vlasta Štěpánová, Dušan Kováčik, Petr Vašina, Pavel Souček a Matej Fekete presented Ceplant research topics. The plasma nanotechnologies and bioapplication group presented various plasma sources and demonstrative experiments. The Deposition of thin films and nanostructure group showed different coatings on various tools and other elements. CEPLANT on-loop presentation was continuously played on a laptop. Our research, equipment, and various videos were presented. Dušan Kováčik had an interview about CEPLANT current research in the program section Innovation kaleidoscope with host Aleš Zbořil.
The relaxed atmosphere attracted many visitors and attendees at a CEPLANT stand.
The Heart of Europe workshop is a traditional gathering of scientists dealing with thin films. The center of Europe is presented by the Technical University of Vienna, Masaryk University in Brno, and Comenius University in Bratislava.
Prof. Christoph Gerhard and his colleagues visited their project partners at the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology and the CEPLANT Centre in the second week of April 2024. Together, they are working on the functionalization of fibers.
