What is intellectual property and what is it good for? In what cases should we think about its security? The lecture will also include the topic of the transfer of technology, licensing, founding of a spin-off company, examples of patents and utility models on the specific cases at the MUNI Faculty of Science.
Our PhD student František Zažímal shared his research at the IWA Water Development Congress 2025 in Bangkok, introducing a novel approach that combines low-temperature plasma and graphitic carbon nitride nanoflakes to improve pharmaceutical removal from wastewater. His work contributes to sustainable water treatment and builds on his achievements as a mentor to award-winning student Anna Podmanická.
