Rigaku Innovative Technologies Europe (RITE) is a part of the Rigaku Corporation group with headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. RITE was established in 2008 as a European Center of Excellence for designing, developing and manufacturing X-ray optics, sources, detectors, and related scientific and industrial research products.
We work with replicable and multilayer technologies to design display optics, e.g., ion cutting or electroplating. Another field of research is in X-ray detectors and fast cameras, for example, with sub-micron resolution. In RITE, we can draft complex optomechanical systems for the semiconductor industry (EUV lithography), material research, and hot plasmas. RITE also participates in new astrophysical projects developing X-ray satellites and testing the X-ray elements that are a part of two Czech nanosatellites, VZLUSAT.
